THE CODE OF STUDENT CONDUCT
DO'S
- The medium of instruction is English and the students are expected to communicate in English
at all times.
- The student should affix his/her photograph and fill in all the entries in the Almanac.
- The seniors must treat their juniors with love and affection; and the juniors should show
respect to them.
- The students should observe polite behavior wherever they go. They should greet the teachers
and elders whenever they meet them.
- The students must practice the virtue of courtesy. They are expected to exhibit dignified
behavior with their peers. The students must not indulge in any act that tarnishes the image of
the school. (POCSO ACT: The Protection of Children from sexual offences Act 2012 .It provides
protection to children from sexual abuse and prescribes punishment by way of imprisonment
and fine for sexual offences against children. No student should involve himself/herself in any
offense like sexual abuse and harassment against any other student.)
- The students selected to participate/ represent the school in sports, cultural or any such
activities will have to demonstrate a high level of discipline during in-school or out station
participation.
- The students are expected to participate in sports in the true spirit of sportsmanship. All the
competitions and activities organized for the students should also be taken in a healthy spirit. It
must be noted that the judges' decision in such activities will be final and binding. They must
always remember that it is not important to always win; participation in itself should be the
primary objective.
- Literature which is connected with the school work should only be brought to the school.
- Students should ensure that any kind of movement of the class should be done under the
supervision of the respective subject teacher, assisted by the class monitor.
- A proper leave application must be submitted in writing, duly signed by the parents, to the
Principal, in case of the absence of the child. This should be supported by a medical certificate
of a registered medical practitioner in case of sick leave for more than two days.
- Students are supposed to keep the classrooms and the school campus as neat as possible.
They must ensure that the waste should be thrown in the dustbins.
DON'TS
- The students are not allowed to board any other school vehicle than that allotted to them.
Changing from senior shift vehicle to junior shift vehicle or vice versa is not permitted.
- The students are not allowed to bring any valuables or expensive articles to the school.
However, in case of loss of a valuable article, the school will try its best to trace the lost item,
but will not be responsible for the loss.
- The students are not permitted to bring mobile phones or electronic gadgets into the school
campus. These items, if found in possession of the students within the school campus, will be
confiscated and strict disciplinary action will be taken against the student. However, in case of
emergency, the students are permitted to make phone calls from the school's Front office, after
seeking permission from the Receptionist.
- The students should not indulge in any of the following practices, namely:
- Spitting in, near or around the school building.
- Disfiguring or otherwise damaging any school property.
- Any form of gambling or narcotics.
- Rowdyism and inappropriate conduct.
- Use of violence in any form.
- Indulgence in unethical cyber activities A strict action will be taken by the school in case
any student is found indulged in any of the above mentioned practices.
